BUSY

Wow, these last couple weeks have been so jam packed, my brain can't even keep up.

a couple quick May birthday shout outs to Aunt Kate, Uncle Wayne, and cousin Lucy who turned 1!!  i have a video of the kids singing happy birthday, i have things to get in the mail...and i'm just SO behind.  i just might actually see you guys in person before doing that!!

shaun's baseball and all sports for that matter wrapped up 2 weeks ago.  we're so happy to have our family weekends back.

grady's preschool and mommy&me classes finished this week.  he starts swim lessons next week 2x/week through the month of june.  colton gets done with school next week.  the following week in the mornings, both boys will go to VBS (vacation bible school)

soccer has been great each tuesday night for the last 7 weeks.  we have one more class before the session is over.  the boys have been loving soccer, i'll probably sign them up to play in the fall session where they have 1 practice and 1 game each week.

i started a photography business.  i've spent the last week doing 6 practice photo sessions with a whole bunch of babies.  been up late nights practicing some photoshop editing skills.  i'm already feeling better about things, and i think my photo quality is improving.  no, i'm not amazing, but i REALLY enjoy it, and i know if i practice a lot more, i could maybe be a little successful at it.  perhaps i'm getting ahead of myself, but for now, i'm having fun!

i got stung by a bee yesterday.  we were at the park, grady started crying down the hill so i ran to get him. as i carried him back to our spot i stepped on a bee and it stung me between the toes.  bee stings HURT!  my toe is still red and irritated today.

shaun's garden is being attacked by gophers.  they are eating his plants so fast, some of his garden boxes are entirely empty.  he's so frustrated.

maslyn is growing like a weed, she's now 7 months! for the last 2 weeks she's been rocking like she wants to crawl, and finally last night it happened!  she's still pretty shaky at it, but she made her way across the entire living room.  i think we need to put the boys lego pieces away now.

i just uploaded a slew of pix onto photobucket...i just don't have time right now to go though and explain them all...so a slideshow will have to do for now.  enjoy the pix!
