Hike 7.11

We went on a nice family hike today.  2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs.  two miles round trip up a small hill, through some oak trees, and high grass open spaces.  in the very beginning of our hike, we came across this guy...he was not happy to see us...and rattled quite loudly.   shaun politely tossed some sticks his way to scare him off the path, but it only made him coil and rattle louder.  eventually, he did slither into the trees, but not without making a fuss about it.
