We went camping with 5 families...10 adults & 10 toddlers. As you might imagine, it was quite chaotic. While many enjoy this, it's not really my dream of camping. But the kids had fun, and loved seeing all their friends.
We went on a couple hikes, the first of which was a 5 mile trek to some bat caves.

the kids started out strong, but we ended up carrying most of them - most of the way.
Between all the water breaks, pee breaks, rest breaks...it took us several hours to make the half way point.it was pitch black in the caves, you actually needed a flash light to see anything! no bats though, they were at the other cave (which was closed) nursing their babies.

Overall, it was a fun weekend of camping. We do have one more camping trip planned for this August, but we will be going solo this time.
