We borrowed our friend's canoe so all five of us would fit comfortably for a little loop around Santa Margarita Lake. However, when we put the canoe in the water...it started to sink. yep, a giant hole. Luckily, the marina rented boats, so for $35 we rented another canoe. We all got ready to load when the marina said we could only board 4 of us...said it was for insurance purposes. if you don't know - a canoe can hold 600 lbs...and the 5 of us don't come close to that. we defintiely grumbled about that.
