River play

For about one month (May), there is a wonderful river that runs through our town.  at it's fullest, it's about thigh high and the kids absolutely love it!  they splash around, dig tunnels in the sand, search for tadpoles, and float down river.  i wish the water lasted longer, but as the weather heats up the river dwindles down to nothing.  we've been a handful of times this month, and hopefully we can get one more trip in before the water is completely gone. 

 Though we constantly had to pull rocks and sand from her mouth, Maslyn loved splashing in the water and digging through the sand.

I admit...little girl bathing suits are just too cute!
